Hi. Now in limp mode with p1191 fuel pressure malfunction. VERY intermittent. He drove for 200 miles mostly at motorway speed but when following slow traffic went into limp mode. A good post by Dave Hill helps but every time I test this it is running fine. I have had plenty experience of the system and when playing up it is quite easy to trace the fault. I wonder if when playing up the fuel pressure regulator is making pressure too high and this may have led to the round disc leaking. I am leaning towards the regulator but an expensive guess. Although an old car it is well looked after and in great condition. And with a large family the seven seats suit them. Also it could be heat related as only happens after a long run and then when going slower. There was no freeze frame data available. Any thoughts would be appreciated
