Hi fellas.... Im hoping someone might be able to help here.. Customer complained that car just cut out - stopped - won't re start. Spins on starter, cambelt - all mechanicals seem ok.. but no spark, and seemingly no fuel being injected. Fuel pressure & delivery rate is fine - up to the injector unit ( single point ) but as I say , I can't see any being injected. I have a 12v (NBV ) at one terminal on the inj. unit connector -which goes off in line with a clicking relay after 2-3 seconds- somewhere.. and a 5v at another of the three termnals.. Interestingly, as I say, theres no spark.. ( and I have changed the coil & amp ) but I can get it to generate a spark by connecting and disconnecting the 3 pin multiplug on the amp - I can hear it sparking inside the dizzy - and can also get a good healthy spark at the end of the coil HT lead doing that...but nothing on turn over on the key,... Thats about all I can tell you, seemingly there's no immobilsiser on this thing..Im beginning to think ECU -( bosch motronic) but dont want to jump there too soon... If anyone has any ideas I'd really appreciate it!! Thanks very much, Mike
