Hello Mike The Hall sensor can be checked with a multimeter that can measure dwell as a percentage (duty cycle) connect between centre "o" terminal and earth, as the engine cranks you should get a reading of 50% as voltage switches from zero to either 5v or 12v depending on voltage supply to "+" terminal. Also an led test light will flash on/off to indicate switching if connected similarlyA quick test to eliminate hall sensor is to disconnect plug at dizzy and flash "+" & "O" terminals on and off with ign on. This will simulate sensor switching and should create spark at coil output (use spark gap or plug)and injector should switch on. Sorry about long post hth Jez
