Help! Fault light on, code recorded is P1259, code reader gives info as " Fuel volume regulator circuit open". Anyone know what this means, what it does and its location?
Loss of power experienced when light first comes on, fault rectifies itself but light stays on until cancelled.Does not recur for several weeks, so difficult to test for a non existent fault. Vehicle has normal vacuum sensed fuel pressure regulator, its the reference to " fuel VOLUME" which has me puzzled! Regards, Gwyn Williams.
