Hi David , many thanks for your reply, I had already found that the code referred to the V-Tec system under OBD2, I just wondered why the ACT2 came up with this explanation and assuming it was correct, what exactly it was! I think you are probably correct and I should take a closer look at the V- Tec system. Problem is the very rare and intermittent nature of the fault. Ah well, perhaps it will get worse and happen more often!! Regards, Gwyn
