System is running "pig rich" and O2 sensor is agreeing. If there was an air leak near the O2 sensor then the sensor would show lean and the mixture would be rich. I agree, that a poor O2 SIGNAL earth (not heater earth) will shift "mid points" higher and lead to a rich mixture. Fuel pressure loss when engine stopped and rich mixture begs the question - do you have a leak through the fuel pressure regulator diaphram to the inlet manifold vacuum connection??? Remove the vaccum hose and using a clear hose on the "mity vac" (vacuum pump) draw a vacuum on the fuel pressure regulator of eg. 20" and check for signs of fuel in the clear pipe. HTH Peter Wright
