    These are classed as a HEUI system Hydraulically operated Electronically actuated Unit Injector rely purely on oil pressure at 250 bar to fire injectors.These engines have 3 oil pumps and are a complete nightmare there is a oil rail pressure switch (£70) built into oil rail in rocker box and electronically operated rail control valve (£214) on the third oil pump N/S of engine beneath inlet manifold both are prone to problems (i usually remove and clean)there is also a problem with wiring loom (£60) within rockerbox make sure all rubber seals are on multi plugs also clean thoroughly.i managed to get some info faxed to me a while ago have you a fax no? also check out the forum on isuzu troopers owners club web site.Have your head shaved now as it will save time pulling it out later.
