Hi Peter, I Don't think that I would be happy with an extension piece and a few butt connectors on my nearly new car,?? would you,?? and If they are using butts, surely thats asking for trouble in the future, (although I do use a hell of a lot of crimps as it's quick and simple and it gets the job away, and we don't get many comebacks) The other thing, is that there can't be many cars using that sensor under 3 years old as they have gone onto different engines and systems etc. ??. I think that I will stick to using the left over siemens sensors for the time being especially at around the £25.00 + vat mark.
