Hi ray, i have had this code on a Peugeot 306 1600cc L reg, well the code read MIXTURE REGULATION, this is fuel burnt incorrectly and could mean any thing like sticky valves, spark plugs, or poor fuel, now i found that the o2 sensor was the fault even though it showed working ok on live data, I got some info from another forum, if you do a resistance check on the heater wires on the o2 sensor they should be 3 ohms tested cold. also check correct plugs are fitted and the gaps are correct, i know this is a different management system than yours but it may help, i also found a breather pipe broken. i did try to call you but i guess you've gone home for the weekend
