Renault Laguna 1.9dCi 2001EDC15 - Poor throttle responce, lurching slightly Archived Message

Why do I get the good ones?
This vehicle came to me from another garage, has a poor throttle response, 'lurching' slightly as you go on and off the power, gives P0102 MAF low input on ACR (reports as MAF short to positive on Texa!). A new MAF made no difference, have stripped and checked loom with meter and by eye.
The EGR has been removed and cleaned, but problem is much improved if the EGR plug is disconnected. I have noticed that the wastegate solenoid valve leaks to atmosphere slightly all the time, is this normal?
All the intake hoses etc. seem ok.
    Am I missing something obvious?
    Sorry for the long post.
    Help, Shaun
