That odd as i,v been quoted just under £700 for the PCM, perhaps yours is different but thats a big jump. Perhaps worth checking the Price.
I must say i get the dealer charging a fortune and not curing the problem a lot, A: we would not do it and would feel guilty if we did, and B:We would be classed as rouge,s.
