Think my cutting out problem is solved but still have not proved it-watch this space!
I think the pump was locking up either due to low lubricity of modern diesel(low sulphur) or a little gum in pump.
Have run vehicle for 50 miles on neat forte
diesel conditioner and car has not cut out once.
I still need to prove why this scenario
shuts down the ecm but not put the ignition lights on as the engine stops.
only ignition off and back on resets
system andf allows restart.
