Peugeot 307 1.6 2001 - ABS fault, light on Archived Message

Hi, Mot'ed this today, ABS light on. Can code read engine management but not abs, comes back with turn ign on. (using s/p acr map) made a quick call to s/p they seemed to think it is a common fault with live / earth to abs mod.
can anyone help give me a stress free sat morning, (customer wants car back yesterday)
