Had vehicle in 2 weeks ago with intermittent cut out while driving, no DTC`s stored. Fitted new CAS and told owner to try.
4 days later the timing belt snapped(thank god i wasn't driving it at the time), sorted this with all the necessary, 16 valves, gaskets, belt kit etc.
Car drove fine on test but the following morning it would not rev over 4000 rpm when you stab the throttle, it`s OK when you gradually open it up though.
It starts and idles fine. Again, no DTC`s stored, timing rechecked(OK), vacuum test OK, exhaust not blocked.
