Vauxhall Vectra DTi 2001 late VP44 pump vehicle - Suring and holding back Archived Message

Hello . I got here a vectra dti on a 51 plate. came in surging/holding back on full throttle acceleration. whilst carying out a psg5 test on the pump the car showed a critical error and it refused to restart.we removed pump and sent it off for further tests and it came back fault in control unit and faulty rotor sensor.pump was repaired and refitted but although it now runs and has no error codes in it it still has the same problem of surging. we have changed all kinds of sensors with advise from bosch uk etc.basically if you bypass the boost control solenoid the problem goes away but then it overboosts because there is obviosly no control. we have changed the solenoid twice to no avail.vauxhall seem oblivious to help also. when it surges the boost pressure is varieing either a result of the problem or possibly the cause we are not sure, so at the point you reach when you want to curl up or take a sledge to the car i am here hoping for inspiration to move on.we have used a donor car for parts which is not the best way but you have to try . my only reservation is the fault is within the pump and would not show up on a bench test as although it was rebuilt it is the same pump.anything anyone can throw at this would be appreciated
