vehicle came in today customer says intermittent cutting out.Decided to clean throttle body and then reset basic settings using MT PRO I have done this successfully before on some vw polos by entering OI eng then 04 basic settings up to channel 98 Then watch field4 for it to sayADP run then ADP ok. This message never appears then DTC says basic setting not complete, it also logs CTS fault and 2 throttle position parameters out of sync,could i have contaminated the T-pot with fuel air intake cleaner WURTH. Or are the throttle housings problematic, it also doesnt run very sweetly on road and MIL doesnt come on ,4 gas readings are perfect atidle and ticks over at800 RPM, any thoughts guys. GEOFF TAYLOR.
