Citroen Saxo 1.0 - 1999 - Bosch MA 3.1 - Idle control failure Archived Message

Posted by Steve Nicholas on May 19, 2006, 8:02 am

According to the archives and general enquiries failure of the idle circuit on these is a fairly common problem due to ECU driver failure.

My local "expert" factor has told me that the ECU is dealer only - does anyone know different please?

Autodata states 11 ohms for test resistance of idle control motor but I measure 5.5 ohms - is Autodata correct?

    Thanks for any help/advice.

    Regards,

    Steve
