Did you ever reach a conclusion with this job?One of our car dealer customers have a 406 2.0 HDI with exactly the same symptoms... just wondered if you could let me know your findings please? Apparently this car has had a new high pressure pump fitted by the car dealer & they had the tank down to cure a fuel leak, all looks to be back OK. If anyone can help it would be most appreciated.
