    Possible immobiliser fault. When the immobiliser is operative , the ECU will give a short burst of injector signals and then stop. I am wondering if that is what you are seeing rather than a permenantly weak injector signal. We see a large number of these ECUs failing when the alternator goes , but usually they are permenantly damaged rather than intermittent. If in doubt, we can test the ECU for you.
