    So you boys refuse work because of a pattern part fitted !!, surely that is your opportunity to point out the inferior quality of the part and make a proper repair?

    If there is one thing I have learnt since being a member of this site is to only fit OE parts for a MIL fault be it a coil pack or a sensor, over the last two weeks I have had a Seat Leon 1.8 turbo AUQ engine showing multiple fault codes, I would not even consider using factor parts on a beast like this, unfortunately, I do not have a Seat dealer within 50 miles but my local VW dealer came up with the goods,I think it is very short sighted and negative to treat customers like this, if you are honest with them up front and tell them that they may well end up with a large bill because of time spent diagnosing inferior parts then you will get them back again ! Had a bleeding hard day so forgive me if I am over the top,
