Peugeot 106 1.1 HFX 2000 - Non Start Archived Message

    Hi All

    Peugeot 106 1.1 HFX M74.4 year 2000 (X)

This vehicle has had a non start fault for about 3 weeks, i have checked through the archives and tried many of the things suggested

    No fault codes present

The vehicle will turn over and you can hear the fuel pump prime but does not fire.... no spark at plugs at all

Autodata does not give any pinout data for this ECU

The immobiliser aerial around the key has been replaced

The crank sensor has been replaced

The main relay under the ECU has been replaced (brown)

I have spoken to Mike at ATP who has suggested that this may be an immobiliser problem and the ECU is not waking up

Before i send this ECU off to Mike to have it checked, just thought i would run it by you lads first

    Many thanks

    Peter

PS: This vehicle did have a leaking screen which did allow water onto the wiring behind dash, but this has been dried out and the vehicle has started since, but non start on Saturday and the same now. There is a small black box behind the ignition key, is this something to do with the immobiliser?

The key does not have a plip (button)
