Hi many thanks to you Guys replaced the tank unit and all was well. I have since found the symptom in Autodata known fixes, but only as a non starter, a bit of a red herring that one and not as loss of power & only revving up to 3000 rpm. I guess, had I serviced it and removed the fuel filter then it would have bee a non starter. All three of you were on the right track and saved me many hours of head scratching on a vehicle I am not that familiar with, thank you again. John Kennard.
