I am going back to have another look at this today.
however as with all commercials. auto data has very little information diagrams etc. can any one tell me what p1882 means this from ad pro, snapon came up with code 311 fuel pressure. Last night i managed to get it to repeat fault as reported by the owner
drives with a slight misfire that's like a lack of fuel but when you put the foot down it pulls well untill you hit 4000rpm and it's like you have hit a rev limiter then there is an occasional compleat loss of power which brings on the red check engine light i have heard of dci's that wont take full throttle unless the speed sensor tells ecu your moving so i am going to look at that and also check fuel pressure on live data at full throttle to see if i can tell if the third stage of the high pressure pump is cutting in. A code for camsensor P1808 is also coming back the garage have changed the crank and cam sensors and i have checked cam with a scope the maf has also been changed, they are changing the fuel filter and checking timing belt tension today I found a leak in the tube just after the maf where it had been chaffing on the inlet manafold and thought i had fixed it but that only improved things a bit.
Any advice will be much appreciated I am keen to learn more about direct injection.
but an expanded discription of codes P1882 and P1808
may help, i have also tried looking them up in renaults on autodata.
