Land Rover Freelander TD4 2003 poor starting - Poor starting (CR) Archived Message

Hi all. This vehicle cranks for ages before firing up more so the longer it's left. Even 10mins after switch off it cranks for 30 secs or more. Once running it's fine tho. The customer cranked it flat so it was towed in. Texa navigator showed loads of random codes presume due to flat batt, cleared codes and now only shows Can-bus fault. I've looked at the archive and thought about injectors but there's no smoke on start up at all. I checked the electric pump nr the tank and it works on ign and cranking. Heard HP fuel pumps are common. Any pointer would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
