Apparently ever since running out of fuel the engine management light has remained on.I have had the vehicle in for servicing today & also to find the cause of the fault. After changing the fuel filter, i found that the in tank pump wasn't operating, so i removed it & replaced it with an intermittently faulty one, just to get it started(which worked before fitting & wouldn't when fitted, so i managed to get the original one working out of the tank then refitted it).(new pump ordered for tomorrow) When the code is cleared,it will stay out until the key is switched off & then back on again.Autodiagnos code indicated is ?1612 & Testbook says undocumented fault code, fault currently present, Bit 3-Not Used, Signal out of range:too low. Gendan list P1612 as Highside switch control cannot switch on or has S/C to ground, but the code may not be a P code. Anybody got any ideas or know what it relates to. Thankyou, Regards, Andrew
