Hello have a problem with this mondeo which has no power at all. came to us with abs fault and no power. found abs sensor and loom to wheel missing! renewed those abs now ok. turns out car is ex taxi! but whatever the problem is it is stumping me. basically when it is cold it will go not that well but it wil;l build up speed then it hits a wall and 40 mph is good. have checked fuel pressure had fuel rail out after reading archives. had exhaust spaced for blockage no difference. the only code i have got is no speed signal. renewed sensor as customer pushing for results without time to pin data etc and fault remains logged. as i write this the car is not here and i havnt got exact code to hand. . its as if the car is being strangled. if we didnt know better you would say the exhaust is blocked. any ideas.
