    Peugeot 106 2000 1.1 HFX - Poor running # Archived Message

    Hi All,
Had this as an going problem for a garage, first off was running like a bag of poo, came up with ageing cat fault (new cat had been fitted 6 weeks ago), scoped the pre cat sensor totally duff which was changed by the garage. Since 1000m has been done now is surging only at cruise, 4th gear 40 mph ish. Fault is intermittent but I have driven it and you can feel it surging on the road, slightly.
Scanned again today and fault code P1327 cyl 1 reference sensor, this system has the coil on plug pack, not the seperate pack to the right of the cylinder head. Reference book says Cam sensor (which it does not have, or I can't find it) Have scoped Crank sensor, superb pattern.
Do these suffer from coil pack problems it's a Sagem pack. I have heard they do, can't find much in the archives, but thinking along those lines as I do get a ghost primary pattern on the scope.

Any sugestions (Yes I know it's French) gratefully received....
    Nige
