Mitsubishi 3000 GT 1991 3.0 V6 Twin Turbo - Non start, ECU repaired # Archived Message

    Hi all.

I have inherited this Mitsubishi from another garage as a non runner. They have had the ECU repaired after it initially wouldn't start. The ECU repairers have suggested that the ECU fault may have been caused by an igniter problem.

Anywhooo, I have jumped in with the Pico to see whats going on. Firstly I have scanned it with the launch & there are no DTC's present. Live data when cranking shows CKP as "OFF" which is a little alarming & I will follow this up.

Here are some captures of the ignition current & volts & also one injector. I should mention that occasionally when cranking, it does give some signs of firing up. I suspect that the plugs are wet through, as there is a real strong smell of fuel.

    Here are the captures......

I am not experienced enough to determine what the problem is here so any feedback would be welcome.

    Thanks for looking!

    Dave (Hill)
