Hello all
Thanks for the replies, carried out extensive pin by pin checks on wiring and components including relay (had already substituted with spare relay)and even gave it away for two weeks to a citroen specialist but no other fault could be found, by this time engine wouldn't even fire up so sent ecu to ECU Technologies who tested it and said definitely faulty but they couldn't repair fair enough so new citroen ecu £500 and its running sweet as a nut finally
ps ecu didn't need programming to fit from new
