    Hi All,
Found myself a nice one to start the year with...
Vehicle has failed emissions on MOT with a high lambda reading.
    Natural idle, PASS.
Fast idle 1, lambda 1.045, CO -0.005% (bit out of cal then!), HC 9ppm
    Fast idle 2, lambda 1.039, CO -0.008%,HC 1.039
My gas tester shows that at idle the lambda is 0.994, O2 0.17%, CO2 13.7%, HC 227ppm, CO 0.17%
    At 2300 rpm I got lambda 1.07, O2 1.08%,CO2 13.2%,HC 000, CO 0.0%.
All the live data looks reasonable except that the upstream lambda sensor sticks at about 88mV on fast idle as you would expect.
I have checked for air leaks (access is a pig due to the small bonnet on this thing), including the canister solenoid.
I have checked the map sensor against a separate vacuum gauge and the only thing I can see is that it appears to be indicating about 10mbar too much vacuum at fast idle but would have thought this would be acceptable.
Tried resetting adaptations but this made no discernable difference.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

    Shaun
