    [img][/img][img][/img]Symptoms;
    Lacking power,difficult to start,sometimes stalling.
    The EGR valve was replaced in october,after the management light came on & a code for egr position was logged.The voltage of the new egr position sensor showed about 1.7 volts when fitted,(from memory) & currently shows 1.75v at idle. The mil came on again & I was also informed of a lack of power this time, so I checked the AMM & found a noisy signal(the same as posted),so I replaced it with a remanufactured Bosch unit,which showed a very similar waveform, but the driver reported an improvement after it was fitted.I have had it in again today with the same fault; mil on & lacking power.The code was for the egr position again.
    I suspected the timing, but after comparing the cam vs crank waveform that I had against this one, it indicated that it was ok.The throttle body was very dirty(now clean). I removed the lambda sensor from the cat just to see if the air mass meter waveform improved, but it made no difference.
    The compressions were all even but very high at 17.5 bar each.The lambda sensor was switching at approx 0.8 htz, but between approx 300mv to 1050mv, so I checked the sensor earth which measured 250 mv.After earthing the sensor earth to battery negative, the lambda didn't switch as good & would stick high at cruise speed.
    A few more readings taken at idle.
    AMM 1.44 volts 175 Kg/hr
    tps 0.7 volt
    o2 loop integrator 131 step
    O2 BLM idle 153
    O2 BLM partial 123
    Injector duration 5.3 ms.

    Could anybody tell me whether the lamda earth is a floating earth on this one & possibly give a reason for the air mass meter waveform.(that's if the image posts ok)Also I'm sure that the egr voltage should be nearer to 1.3 volts , could somebody confirm this.
    Kind Regards,Andrew
