    I would think that the one Steve is talking about didn't have a factory immobiliser and this one Probably has. ( not sure as I can't remember the job that steve has mentioned )

    On Steves, I would think that it was one of those silly Toyota Alarms that used to "Die" after the battery was disconnected, Some could be resynchronised with the remotes but most had to have the Alarm box replaced complete with 2 remotes. But I can't see that type making the Engine light flash. ??

    If it has a factory immobiliser, It will need the key checking, Transponder ring, wiring relays fuses. immo box if it has one and the ecu.


    Sorry to be so Vague but thats as much as I can suggest at the moment.
