Had a look at this vehicle for Rupert yesterday, he has had the ECU tested and it came back as tested ok.
Tried to start this morning an no go, i then turned the key on and waited for the fuel pump to stop priming, and to my surprise it took about 8 to 10 seconds then you could hear relays click, pump stopped and then it started ok, tried this again and started ok again. If you try to start before pump finishes, no go (only from cold). Once the vehicle has started and got warm it will start all day as normal (key start after a few seconds)
So what would cause the pump to take so long to prime? (or is that normal) and then what relays kick in or out?.....this seems to be the root of the problem. Any theories welcome
