    Hi Nick,

    Can't help you with your car problem, but regards to your Autodiagnos MTPro issue, no you don't have the wrong cable. There are two BMW cables available depending on when the system was bought, early systems had the 15pin D type connector that plugged directly in to the MTPro. The later systems came with a 25pin D type connector that plugged into the end of the MultiCable (that then plugged into the MTPro).

    Both cables function the same, however, I believe there were some issues with the application such that some releases of the software didn't work properly. If you let me know what release of the aplication you have I will see if it was one of the problematic releases. Note that you may also be able to loader a slightly new version as well, depending on what you've got currently loaded.

    The other thing is to select the F3 menu from the application selector and go down to where it says Cable Information to check that it is recognising the cable correctly.
