Hi all, I got some more time on this today. First thing I did was to scope the CKP. It is perfect. I gave the injectors a direct fused supply, just in case. No different. I lifted the coil pack and put leads onto numbers 3 and 4. Scoped all secondary, ok. Scoped injectors all ok except no ground signal on number 3. Number 3 has no signal even after clearing codes and cranking so it appears to have no signal ever and is not shutting down. By this I mean it never gets started. As though this was not strange enough already it now gets even stranger. I removed plugs 2 and 3 to check compression. It started as I was checking. Up to this it was difficult to start. My first thought was blocked exhaust. I refitted number 3 with its lead and left number 2 plug out. It started easily and made an effort to run on number three. Pulling number 3 HT caused a slight drop in idle. Before this it made no difference. At idle in this state the code for number 3 still returned. At this stage the scope was on another car and I didn’t get time to check the inj pulse on 3. I am happy that the exhaust is blocked but that may be just part of the problem. Tomorrow will tell. What still does not make sense is the code for the inj output stage. Alan
