HI ALL any pointers on this one? car came in from another garage after they fitted new crank sensor and maf (non genuine).Code stored is 16705 engine speed sensor(G28) implausible signal. Code is coming up after cranking, even the slightest touch of the key will set dtc. I have scoped sensor at ecu, all looks ok . fuel pressure good and holding at 3 bar replaced maf with known good genuine one, rpm looks normal when using vag com V's tacho on gas Analiser. The car will start after cranking for 4-5 seconds but will not rev any higher than 5000 rpm and it struggles to get there. finally i tried another ecu and it will log same code and behave same way.I'm really starting to run out of ideas  mark |
