I'm not an expert on these but G28 might be an engine speed sensor fitted close to the flywheel and senses the flyweel teeth moving.

It could be a loose sensor, swarf on the teeth or damaged teeth.

I typed in ""Check Engine Speed Sensor (G28)" in google and got several results.
