Hello All. Update on citreon.A couple of days ago we presented the car to the dealer to establish the current level of software and the option of a reflash,Alas vehicle running latest version,So no patch fix available. As you can imagine much dissapointment,However this was not an entirely wasted excercise as the workshop forman divulged some interesting information. This particular production run was a failure. From the onset customers returned in droves complaining that the car did not perform correctly. Dispite various software patches problems were never resolved. At mot test time the dealer found it nescessary to disconnect the coolant temp sensor otherwise the vehicle would fail on lambda reading. The dealer informed us that now a revised specific mot test value is entered into the emission test routine to cater for this problem,Thus enabling the car to pass on what would be a very high lambda reading. Lastly we were told that they try and avoid this car like the plague,And would only get involved if a fault code was present. These comments are reflected in some of your posts,So you now have it from the horses mouth. We are possibly out of the woods with this vehicle as a result of related repair some days ago, Which at the time of posting did not consider mentioning.Run out of time now but will post back as soon as i can. Regards Trevor.
