| Well done Mark, what a nightmare job !My post related to an old Mondeo I had a few years ago that had a blocked centre silencer , would start and run but you could not drive 20 yards up the road without coming to an abrupt halt and it blew off the EGR pipes.When it stalled , on turning it over on the starter it sounded as though compression had gone, couple that with your stretched chain and you had a good one ! |
