Hi Roger, I was baffled the other day on a VW Passat Lambda sensor, autodata gave the sensor wire (white) going to pin 8 on ecu, scoped it,at the ecu, to find an oscillating voltage of o to 50 volts, after going down the route of attentuation on the scope, I had another look at the wiring diagram, I then realised there was also a white wire to the idle speed control valve, which I had tee'd into by mistake.
