    hi barry,had one like this from another garage,took to cust house after head job no start next day we towed it from repairing garage as a non start,what had happened was that they had not secured the cam pulley correct and it sheared the locating pip which must have gone on start up therefore the cam sensor is out to the crank sensor which shuts every thing down.battery light may be another fault HTH Dave Cogan
