Mercedes 190 2.6 1990 - Non Start - Fuel Pump Not Running Archived Message

Got this Merc 190 2.6 in.Has been intermittantly cutting out but restarting.Today stopped at petrol station & wouldnt restart. RAC called & found fuel pump not running so towed car in.Cant find proper wiring diagram so could do with some info.Car has two fuel pumps beside each other. Put live feed directly to pump, pump runs & engine will start OK.I assume pump relay is 12pin black box behind fuses.Only diagram I have shows a much simpler relay with pin 30 live(it tests ok) & pin 87 feed to pump.I have no continuity between this pin & pump. Just a thought;Has this vehicle got an Inertia switch anywhere?
Any comments appreciated or a wiring diagram would be very helpful.
    Thanks;David.
