Fuel pump relay sits behind plastic cover to rear of battery compartment.The plastic multipin socket is usually attached to the framework the holds the ke & abs control units.Relays do fail on these ,but check the wiring in the socket for rot.(8 or 9 pin connector)there is no fuel shut off inertia switch on these.
