Yup, relay 109 sounds like the one. AKA Elcrappo ones "made in Tunisia". Simple test without major strip down is to give the fuse box area above the accel pedal a dunt or a kick if your bombing down the fast lane at warp factor 9, and you notice the engine cuts out and the speedo needle drops like a stone. If its the relay it will fire up straight away. Another strange thing you will probably find, is that when you give the shut off solenoid a direct feed from the battery, the engine will switch off and on with the key????????? In any event you can strip the relay and if you look at the bottom of the circuit board you will see the solder points are cracked and/or dry. Simply resolder them and all will be well. 100% success rate. Cheers, Ian.
