Called out to a breakdown today. The customer says he was reversing into a parking space, stalled the engine whilst reversing over a bump and now it won't start, It cranks over but no more! Posts DTC P1664 Fuel injection pump malfunction high voltage & P1564 Fuel injection pump requesting reduced fueling mode. Tried to clear but both codes return as soon as the ignition is switched on. We've looked to see if this vehicle is fitted with an inertia fuel cut off switch but it doesn't seem to have one fitted. I don't now whether to get too involved in this one or just pass it onto a diesel specialist. Any help would be appreciated.
