Mick,unbeleiveable!!
Connected up stop light bulb and lambda
started switching after a very short period.
Out of interest,i also tried this test using
a lower rating bulb namely 5w festoon
where i could grip both ends with crocidile
clips and the engine remained in closed
loop lambda 1!!!

Hope this also helps other technicians
out there.
PS you were right about price;-
