Can I trouble any of you guys out there for some know how on whether this system is readable or blink codes? Where is the diagnostic socket? and which terminals to bridge. I have consulted all my Mastertech and technical data books all to no avail. The problem with said vehicle is as soon as you engage drive and go to touch the throttle it stalls if you engage reverse it will go ok I am assuming a speed sensor, if I can obtain a code! Again where might this be located, looking at the auto box it apears to be just a simple speedo cable. Sorry we lack such basic know how but have very little experiance of Protons.
