Nissan Terrano 2.7TD 1999 - MIL on, fault code 34, lift sensor incorrect siganal Archived Message

    Fault-MIL on, Poor performance.

Fault code 34 ,which according to Autodata is needle lift sensor-incorrect signal. This makes sence and is consistant with the fault.

I have scoped the output and all I can say is that i am getting "an" output but it doesnt match the one in my waveform Library.

    Question.

1)can anybdy post an example of what the correct output should be? (It is a bosch system)

    2) Is code 34 what it says it is? The autodata instructions on how to extract the code are incorrect! (surprise there then) so I am wondering if the rest of the data is suspect!

    3) how does one wipe the fault code? the auodata instructions are "Unhelpful" in this area also.

    4) Any susgestions for additional tests before I bite the bullet and spend £££££'s on a new injector?
