this engine is what can be described as nondescript
it a (bitsa) , thats direct from vauxhall.i have had problems such as :-
non start
start runs then stops
cuts out when driving !sometimes with trouble codes but mostly without!
most cases its either of the ecu,s . but only the ecu on top of the engine(engine ecu) can be interogated. however on a number times i have needed to replace both units. a typical job :-
no pump speed
injection pulse stuck to high(engine not running) replacing pump unit brought pump speed back on line. still no start. replacing engine(ecu) allowed engine to sart.
