Secma Fun Extr-M 500 03 500 Lombardini VMTFUN50000500151 - Runs rich, loses power, stalls #

Car generally runs perfectly normally but on occasion run very rich, lose power, stall,then not start again. It is EOBD compliant but shows no DTCs nor Freeze Data. Has been to three garages before here, one changed the fly by wire throttle unit. So far all I have done is clean most management multy connectors using Wurth SW contact spray, and have not experianced the flooding fault myself. The owners say they have had many occurances of the trouble since purchase over a year ago. The induction air measure appears to be by AMP type fitted into the top of the planum chamber direct. Has anyone had any knowledge of this little 'beasty'?

WOW theres more than one of these

We had one doing similar and there was somthing loose inside exhaust causing a part block some of the time and makeing it black smoke.

Hi Roy, Many thanks for your reply, will be looking at the exhaust Monday permitting. Certainly an unusual fault these days.

Just a thought, I don't suppose these things are fitted with an aftermarket type ecu that has it's own software that may be available.

Removed silencer--fully clear, sliced it pipe forward of kat-- kat fully clear as vieued by shining led light through kat. Many thanks,got to weld up my damage now.

It looks like their own kit to me, but I hope someone might correct me, or are we starting to

Don't know if this is any help or not but have a look at the link.

The software I was referring to was the diagnostic and mapping software that is usually available for aftermarket ECU's such as DTA Fast. No idea what make the ecu is?

BEWARE. The Website looks professional but the products may not be what they seem,
And the methods of charging/refunds may leave a bit to be desired.

There are a few members that have had bad dealings with this company.

Yep
I got bit, sent me unit for Nissan a few weeks ago which was faulty, i rang then, they told me to return the unit with the old unit, which i never sent old unit, asked for refund, guess what no reply no refund oh and if you want to speak to acc department you have to write to them, very strange.. we have now its in the hands of our Visa Company. So as Tony says just beware of this company Autotek.

Anyone else had a bad experience from them

Run a mile from those idiots,Took them 3 months to half fix a hdi ecu,Had it back three times before it sort of worked.Cost me £380 inc all postage
